It is funded by the European Union under the Civil Society at Work VII Grant Program for Cyprus. This internship program will offer not only work experience but also educational opportunities. Anyone above 18 years of age and interested in making social investments can apply. In order to reach young individuals from all regions of northern Cyprus, this year&#8217;s internship program will open positions in Lefkosia, Ma\u011fusa, and Girne\/Kyrenia, as well as in \u0130skele\/Trikomo, G\u00fczelyurt\/Morphou, and Lefke\/Lefka. In 2023 and 2024, the internship program will provide opportunities for young people from all over Cyprus to come together by offering internship positions across the entire island.   <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_fullwidth_header][et_pb_fullwidth_header title=&#8221;Equal Rights for All: Improving Employee Rights&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; background_color=&#8221;RGBA(255,255,255,0)&#8221; background_layout=&#8221;light&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;||24px|||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Duration:<\/strong> 34 Months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Year:<\/strong> 2021-2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Budget:<\/strong> 260.920,00 EUR<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project &#8220;Equal Rights for All: Improving Employee Rights&#8221; is funded by the European Union under the Civil Society at Work VII Grant Program for Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project, aiming to support the creation of working conditions where all private sector employees have equal rights, commenced on December 1, 2021, through a collaboration between the Human Resources Management Association and the Cyprus Turkish Bar Association.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Three key areas stand out in the project:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em> <\/em><em>Legal and Psychological Support Mechanism.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em> <\/em><em>Capacity-Building Training for the Private Sector.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em> <\/em><em>Enhancement of the Existing Local Legal Framework and Conducting a Comprehensive Study on Local Legislation Regarding Mobbing.<\/em><em> <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>1. <strong>Legal <\/strong><strong>and Psychological <\/strong><strong>Support <\/strong><strong>Mechanism<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> A pool of lawyers to provide free legal aid to victimized employees, and a pool of psychologists to offer psychological support.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Capacity-Building Training for the Private Sector<\/strong>: Various capacity-building trainings based on human rights for private sector employees and company managers. At the end of the training, an employee handbook including best practices will be prepared. <\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Improvement of the Existing Local Legal Framework and Local Legislation Work on Mobbing:<\/strong> A series of lobbying visits were conducted to monitor and address violations of employee rights.
